Data Processing Specialist, Hermon Research Ltd. Geofrey Lutwama has more than 10 years of experience in designing, managing, leading, and coordinating CAPI data capturing and processing activities in multiple countries including Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Sera Leon, Ghana and Tanzania. He brings extensive knowledge and direct survey field experience in preparing CAPI application for HH listing, HH selection, main data collection, data quality monitoring and feedback to the field teams, secured data transfer to the central server, routine troubleshooting, data cleaning and tabulation mainly using CSPro and other relevant softwares based on the nature of survey and clients requests. He has served as a CAPI Data Processing consultant, Data processing system developer, and Lead Programmer mainly for ICF International (DHS and MIS), Kimetrica/AIR, and CDC as well as various private firms, NGOs, and UN agencies in the area of CAPI programing. He has involved in providing training to fieldworkers about CAPI, data entry and editing teams, survey mangers field monitoring program and field check tables. Geofrey holds B.Sc in Computer Science from Makerere University.
