Girum Haile brings over 25 years of experience in designing, managing, and leading research initiatives across Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, and Liberia. He possesses in-depth expertise and hands-on field experience in all aspects of survey implementation, including sample design, questionnaire development, data collection, data quality assurance, tabulation, data analysis (using tools such as SPSS), and report writing and dissemination.

Mr. Girum is highly experienced in training and supervising field personnel—including data collectors, supervisors, and coordinators—and has played a key role in ensuring the successful execution of numerous large-scale surveys. He has served in various capacities at the Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia, including roles as Statistician, Researcher, and Census Cartographic Field Supervisor.

In addition to his institutional experience, Girum has provided consultancy services to private firms, NGOs, and UN agencies, supporting both quantitative and qualitative data collection and survey management efforts.

As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hermon Research Ltd, Girum oversees day-to-day operations, departmental coordination, and the management of technical experts, ensuring effective and timely project delivery.

He holds an MSc in Population Studies/Demography, with a specialization in Reproductive Health, from Addis Ababa University.
