Hermon Research conducted the Nawiri Mid-Term Evaluation for the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) – USAID, from December 2023 to May 2024. This evaluation was a critical component of USAID’s efforts to assess the progress and effectiveness of the Nawiri program, which aims to reduce persistent acute malnutrition in Kenya’s arid and semi-arid regions. Hermon Research’s comprehensive approach combined both quantitative and qualitative data collection, providing a deep and nuanced understanding of the program’s impact at the mid-point of its implementation. The evaluation involved extensive fieldwork across multiple regions, engaging with key stakeholders, program beneficiaries, and local communities. Our team’s ability to adapt to complex field conditions ensured that the data collected was accurate, timely, and reflective of the local context. The findings from this mid-term evaluation are pivotal for USAID in making data-driven adjustments to the program’s strategies and interventions to maximize its long-term impact. This project further solidified Hermon Research’s reputation as a trusted partner in delivering high-quality, tailored research solutions. By focusing on the specific needs of our clients and providing actionable insights, we continue to help organizations like USAID make informed decisions that drive positive change in vulnerable communities.
